Heat and Portland Trail Blazers Earn Initial Victories Following Player Arrests
Miami recorded 86 first-half scores against the Memphis Grizzlies
Miami Heat earned a decisive 146-114 win over the Memphis Grizzlies in their initial NBA match since player Terry Rozier was detained for suspected unlawful gambling.

League Commissioner Adam Silver 'Upset' by Arrests
Speaking about the detentions for the first time, NBA commissioner Silver said he was "very upset" by the incidents of the past few days.
"Nothing is more critical to the NBA and supporters than the fairness of the competition," he informed a broadcaster. "And so I had a pit in my stomach. It was disturbing."
The commissioner also mentioned an NBA investigation into Rozier's actions in March 2023, when there was "aberrational betting" in a game he participated for the Charlotte Hornets versus the Pelicans, discovered no wrongdoing.
"We were informed by the authorities and the betting companies," he continued.
"We investigated that situation and were open regarding it. And while there was the unusual wagering, we, frankly, found no evidence.
"The federal government has subpoena power... [it] can impose penalties, can do all kinds of things that the NBA can't do.
"Therefore, we've been working with them since then. Naturally, what they revealed yesterday was an indictment.
"And two and a half years later, he has not been found guilty of any offense, in justice to Rozier.
"Clearly, it appears unfavorable, but he's been suspended, and so it is a compromise here between upholding rights and investigating."
